The Sukhoi Su-33 Flanker-D is an all-weather carrier-based air defense fighter designed by Sukhoi and manufactured by KnAAPO. It is a derivative of the Su-27 "Flanker" and was initially known as the Su-27K. The aircraft was first used in operations in 1995, aboard the carrier Admiral Kuznetsov. It officially entered service in August 1998, by which time the designation "Su-33" was used. Kit features engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit, optional (canopy, folding wings with detail, speed brake), landing lights, feathered exhaust, air intake with detail, detailed wheel wells and undercarriage, filigree probes and antennae, photoetch parts and armament (SPS-171 (x2), R-27ET (x2), KH-35 (x2), KH-59 (x2), R-73E (x2), R-77 (x2), R-27ER (x2), KH-31 (x2) and launch rails, also includes (1) sitting pilot and (2) standing crew and flight deck.
