Static Conductive Black Vacuum Cleaner Hose Cuff, 1" Female Hose Thread x 1" Smooth. Static conductive hose ends or hose cuffs are constructed of a carbon impregnated rubber resin which allows them to conduct static electricity. The cuffs fit many standard industrial vacuum hoses which have a reverse helix hose thread (cuff threads on the opposite direction of a normal screw - counter clockwise). Each cuff has one end with a female threaded interior which allows it to thread directly onto the raw end of the vacuum hose. The other end of the cuff is smooth, allowing it to be pushed onto floor wands and hand tools with a friction fit. These industrial cuffs are sized based on the internal diameter of the vacuum hose. Certain manufacturers of consumer shop-vacs use proprietary hose sizes, so please measure carefully to ensure that this is the right cuff for your application.
