The FP745TCI stands for Torque Controlled Impact - and it has a digital display at the base of the handle so you know how much torque has been applied. The tool has 4 settings in the Forward direction at 65, 80, 100, 120 ft-bs (plus or minus 10% due to air pressure fluctuations). Like all air tools it is designed to run at 90 psi at the tool inlet when trigger is engaged. A green light illuminates on a successful rundown of the lugnut that ensures no over tightening which can cause damage to the brake rotors. When green light appears release trigger and check digital display to ensure accurate torque has been applied. It is very important to fully engaged the trigger - DO NOT FEATHER THE TRIGGER. A redlight illuminates when there is a bad rundown - usually because of stripped or cross threads. The FP745TCI has 800 ft.lbs in reverse torque all the time for easy removal of stubborn lugnuts on all cars and light trucks. The Forward / Reverse lever is located on the back of the tool for easy change of direction. The FP745TCI comes with 3 AAA batteries for the digital display located on the bottom of the tool. A blinking red light indicates change of batteries is needed. Here are the specs: weighs 5.1 lbs., 8500 RPM, 9.8 long, air inlet is 1/4" NPT and requires minimum 3/8" air hose.
